When I was your age!
When I was your age!
When I was your age!
When I was your age!
I had 5 jobs grown' up
Like a lemonade stand and a paper route
Put all my money in a cup
And save it up for lots of stuff
Still I didn't really have enough
So I washed some cars and cleaned some trucks
I never get to do what I want
Well, that's just life
When I was your age!
(You don't know what it was like)
When I was your age!
(You don't know what it was like)
When I was your age!
(You don't know what it was like)
When I was your age!
I had to walk 5 miles, up hill, in the snow
You will never know how that feels, never!
Don't interrupt when I talk
Who do you think pays the bills?
Money doesn't grow on trees
That's not life!
When I was your age!
(You don't know what it was like)
When I was your age!
(You don't know what it was like)
When I was your age!
(You don't know what it was like)
When I was your age!
When I was your age!
When I was your age!
When I was your age!
When I was your age!

I remember when Growing In was released as a surprise, I was incredibly excited. And the way Ace passed it off as something he just whipped up really quick made me excited to just have a little something extra. But this album quickly became my favorite album of the year, and may even be my favorite album out of all of Ace's projects. christovix
